Integrative Yoga

I have enjoyed the benefits of yoga for over 20 years.  Yoga has been an important part of my own rehabilitation after multiple injuries, including car accidents and skiing injuries.  I am a registered yoga teacher (RYT) with an additional certification in Structural Yoga Therapy.

Yoga is the perfect complement to orthopedic rehabilitation and self-care for the athlete.  Benefits include:

  • Promotes mindful movement

  • Creates balance between strength and length

  • Helps correct imbalances resulting from a specific sport

  • Improves motor control, balance, stability, and tissue adaptability

My background is in alignment based yoga.  This focus on correct alignment keeps your body safe and allows you to get the most out of each pose.  I integrate this with my physical therapy background, individualizing yoga to specific goals and needs.  I do both personal yoga sessions, as well as group classes via Zoom.  Check back, as class schedules are continually being updated.
